mtime is still here to help in these trying times!
As we watch the situation regarding COVID-19 evolve, many businesses and schools are shutting to help flatten the curve.
However, mtime aims to maintain serviceability throughout this uncertain period, to continue supporting our families in these difficult times.
In following the advice of government health bodies, prior to each session both our families and moncierges will be asked to do safety checks beforehand, and practice highest level safety precautions including hand washing and sanitising with at least a 60% alcohol based hand sanitiser. The implementation of new procedures aims to ensure the health and safety of your family, our moncierges, and the broader community.
We are aware of the possible impacts of further school closures and have assembled a group of our fully vetted moncierges who we will be prepared to accommodate your requests during this unsettling time. In doing so, we have also asked all moncierges to complete the Australian Government Department of Health COVID-19 Infection Control Training course.
If your usual moncierge needs to stay home with their own children, or are in the process of social distancing/self-isolation a replacement moncierge will be able to accommodate your usual level of support. Health and safety remains the highest priority, so we will continue to communicate any changes as frequently as required.
As part of our new precautionary procedures, we ask that all our families and moncierges before shifts practice the following:
- Wash hands often with soap and water for 20 seconds.
- Buy and use alcohol-based hand sanitiser with over 60 per cent alcohol.
- Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Avoid close contact such as kissing, hugging, and sharing cups or eating utensils with people who are sick, or symptomatic.
- Avoid public events, or any arena where large groups congregate.
- Cover your coughs and sneezes with a tissue, upper shirt sleeve or elbow, not your hands.
- Remain in the family home where possible (during sessions).
- Continue healthy habits: exercise, drink water, get plenty of sleep.
We also ask for immediate communication if any party is unwell, feeling sick or at risk to cancel their session (with no cancellation fee from the 16th – 30th March).
Due to the unusual nature of this period, we are also dropping our sign up fee for new families to $79 with a 50% refund if you decide not to continue after 2 trial sessions.
Again, health and safety is the highest priority of mtime — particularly now in these trying times. However, we are still here for our families and community. If you'd like to try out a life admin assistant to help with the kids, housework, chores and cooking — we have you covered. Our moncierges don't just bring their great personalities and handy admin skills to help your family manage it all, but also bring a part of their family to yours.
Let's all remember, we're in it together!
